In part 1, Ed address that question you might have about why gas pumps say "unleaded gasoline only." Well it turns out some people in the 1920s thought that adding lead to gasoline helps your car run smoother and overall better. Even though most people since the ancient Romans understood that lead isn't good for the body. In the 1920's all that valid concern went right out the window and accumulated all that lead in the brains of millions (if not BILLIONS) of people.
Follow along where Ed and Kara address a dumpster fire so blatantly obvious both on paper and in execution, that we have to wonder why putting lead in gasoline was even considered a good idea.
Part 2 took a hot minute and a ton of feedback, but Kara and Ed got the long anticipated second part of, "I Love The Smell of Lead" episode finished.
In this episode, Ed dives into the absolutely insane story of how one man named, Claire, was able to bring down the crazy stupid leaded gasoline empire.
